What is canyoning?
It's an exploratory water sport in the mountains that involves progressing through a canyon using techniques such as abseiling down waterfalls on ropes or zip lines, jumping into pools and sliding down smooth rocks.
The coastal mountains of the Gaspé Peninsula and the Chic Chocs massif offer you the chance to discover these magnificent canyons.
Equipped with specialized equipment, highly qualified canyoning instructors will teach you how to move and overcome obstacles such as large natural basins, which you can sometimes fly over by zip-line. The mythical mountains in the heart of our beautiful Gaspé Peninsula will allow you to discover its unique environment and crystal-clear emerald waters.
